Note: people who are just driving themselves (and not thinking about carpooling) may not check this site, so if you post a new request, you might want to send a message to the listserve (ofb@yahoogroups.com), to let people know that you are interested in carpooling to a particular dance, and those who can help or want to respond should please do so on this wiki page. That way, everyone on the list who's NOT interested in that particular carpool doesn't have to get a bunch of messages in reply. Wikis work best when participants have tagged them for monitoring, so they get an alert every time the page is changed, but no one uses our wiki that way (at least not yet), so you have to somehow alert everyone that you've added a new post and you're hoping for a response. Obviously, you can also simply send a message to the listserve, and ask folks to respond to you individually, and not on the whole list. The point is to not use the listserve for a whole bunch of back and forth conversation.

Carpool to the Jonesborough Dance for June 7.  Meet at Earthfare in Asheville at 6:20 (dance starts at 7:30; we will REALLY depart at 6:30).  Meet toward the back of the parking lot -- near the previous Center for Unlimited Possibilities.  Whoever shows up will determine how many cars we'll need. --- Diane --- Sat update:  I won't be there myself (going down early), but I hope others will still meet up and eliminate a few cars from the road.
